Camille helped Niklaus to get behind his Demons, but when she didn't see him she forgot who he was, what he was. After months she could fight the manipulation and knew everything what he did to her. But she had complicated feelings for a "monster" how others would said. She was mad at him for using her to write his memorials and that he thought she could fix his mess. Niklaus never denied it that he has feelings for her but he didn't want that she enter his life and be always in danger. But he can't help his feelings

Do you know what a person is thinking as they die? Neither do I, but, this is what I believe these characters were thinking as they died.
