There are two types of life after death. You can either become a ghost or begin another life. After that, you can choose what type of ghost you want to be. You could haunt the living, try and scare them or even try to communicate with them. Or, you can become a guardian. No, not a guardian angel, just a guardian. Just watching over a living person, help them make decisions in life and be there for them when they die.

After graduating from high school, Mathew sets out to do a two-year missionary service like everyone else his age. Mathew thought that his only problem would be him adjusting to the city as someone who's lived in a farming town all his life. he didn't expect to get so focused on helping Nathaniel recover from his past wounds. She's equipped with perfectly pouty pink lips, a voice that can hit even the highest notes and luscious strawberry blonde hair. Not to mention that she's spent her entire high school life playing dumb. The role should be a piece of cake. That is until her ex boyfriend, her best friend and the dorky guy from her math class all decide to audition. Who knew a school musical could be this complicated? Two hundred years in the future, Earth's rural lands have all but disappeared. The rest of the planet's surface is one huge city called Metropola.The only place on Earth where no one from Metropola has gone is called Hatari Island. It is located in the south pacific and served as a breeding ground for genetic experimentation in the twenty-second century. Its megafauna is unlike anything the planet has ever seen before. However, there are people on the island, called the Kupata, who have been there for as long as anyone can remember. They still live the old way and shoot bows and arrows and gather their food. But the island is not what it seems. Pretending to be shareholders in a science program on the island, the world's richest men are using the island for something terrible. Something the natives call "Thunder Season." Into this world comes Bahati. Bahati was born on the island and wear the claw of the most powerful beast on the island around his neck. He, like the rest of his people, does not know anything about the existence of Metropola and its people. He has never seen those who come to the island from that place. One day, however, he meets a shipwreck victim named James Goodman, who tells him about the rest of the world. James quickly figures out the island's true purpose and he and Bahati escape with a ragtag band of rebels to tell the rest of the world about the atrocities there. Together, they seek the help of the Metropola council and campaign for the Kupatas' freedom. Unfortunately, a strange twist of events sends Bahati back to the island. There, he is subject to the hardest test he has ever had to pass. Losing will mean certain death. Jesse's entire life is a charade. Everything he does, he does to hide the truth. His girlfriend? Fake. His hair colour? Fake. His love for soccer? Fake. His life? Fake, fake, fake. But after years of pretending, people simply believe everything he tells them. Why would they think something wasn't right when Jesse kept telling them everything is A-Okay? But one drunk mistake suddenly reveals part of the truth, and with one piece of the puzzle gone, everything is starting to crumble apart. Secrets are unravelled, friendships ruined, and hearts get broken. While Jesse is desperately trying to prevent his biggest secrets from getting out there, he needs to make some decisions to prevent his closest friendships from breaking apart, possibly losing the most important person in his life.

Four rooms. Thirty days . Twenty four people who make life worth living. And one story to last an eternity.
