Deep in enemy territory, within the brambles and bushes, lies a very important paper. A paper that she must find, one that will seal her family's fate for forever. A paper with... the recipe for syrup? -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Popular breakfast diner "Nova's" is definitely a favorite amongst the town of Mapleton. The only thing holding them back from being the best diner in town is losing the annual Syrup Competition to rival diner "Peaches". Determined to win, Riley's parents throws her into the thick of things one month before the competition. Grabs her by the ear and basically shoves her into the opposing diner, she's forced to go on an undercover mission in order to retrieve top secret information on the syrup their opponents are working on. One of those opponents happen to be the well known, typical douchebag jock, Ryan Moore.

Four Members known as the Folk Legends Guild is all it takes to stop those monstrous villains that lurk inside of fairy tales. It is their mission to defeat the bad guys and save the good ones so they can have their happy ending. Of course, doing this job is harder than it looks. Linda Kemsley soon finds that out when she joins the guild as the fifth member, and her past mistakes that keep mysteriously crawling back into her life aren't doing her any good favors either. Will Linda be able to prove herself to Folk Legends, or will her precedent slip ups ruin the last chance that she has?

Lena lived an ordinary life. At least she thought so. She had a decent job, good friends, and was just finishing up college, and was ready to graduate. Not many things in her life were a constant, her parents, her friends, hell even her pets would love her. There were only two things that were a constant in her life; her Aunt Greta, and the random bruises that littered her skin. For seven years the bruises would just show up, with neither her, nor her Aunt being able to figure out were she would be getting them, just chalking it up to her being a bit clutzy. But what happens, when on the day of graduation, a CIA agent comes up to Lena congratulating her, and telling her 'Welcome to Project Nightlight.'

Book 4 of the Mengcheng Dreaming series and Second Camp Nanowrimo Spin-off Looking Back explores the memories of the SwiftyTV crew (Swifty, Jade, PB, Lemmy, Leopold and Bertha) as well as others, set in the past long before the events in the 3rd Mengcheng Dreaming novel "Arctic Dogs: Metamorphoris". The stories will explore how they came to who they were. The stories include: • Jade - Looking Back (Jade on meeting Swifty for the first time during the Great Beidongshan Floods) - FP • PB - Stones (PB's story from being adopted by the orphanage, to the moment he started playing video games and when he got adopted by Swifty's Mum) - FP • Lemmy - Me and My Drum (Lemmy composed a song for the first time during secondary school, for a classmate) - TP • Leopold and Bertha - Over the Sea (The otter twins recounted their days filming their family memories and watched them for one last time before flying to Mengcheng (In script-like form)) - RP • Duke (with Dakota) - Pop/Stars (Duke teamed up with Swifty and competed at their primary school's inter-class football tournament) • Dusty - Mon Alliee (You Are the Best in Me) (Dusty and Jade reconnected with each other in Singapore Polytechnic after the end of the school holidays with a movie date) • Penny - Marte (Penny, along with Swifty and PB, heads to Singapore to her childhood home.) • Swifty - Nandemoniya (Swifty found Jade, now with Dusty as her boyfriend, in a bookstore in Orchard Road).

Book 2 of the Mengcheng Dreaming series and First Camp Nanowrimo Spin-Off Book One year after he left the village to pursue his dreams of becoming a successful rock star in Mengcheng, Bodi finally returns home for Chinese New Year.
