❝Nobody can tell this story. Nobody but me.❞ Ω When Aaron McGannon struts into school with a gun and a plan, nobody is prepared. Not his boyfriend, not his sister, and certainly not the souls that hang in the balance. From then on-maybe even before-nothing is certain. Nothing, except the resounding declaration that skids across the asphalt of his mind: there will be blood. [ NO. 13 || 19.5.16 ]

What would you do if you wake up married? Or have Chicken Nugget religious followers trailing behind you? Or throwing up at someone else's head at a killer ride? "Shit." One depressed girl in a new school has more secrets than she wants to let on. Its all she can do is keep her facade she creates of a happy, fun-loving teenager up and running. She only has one motto. Keep moving and trust no one. Sorry if I'm bad at descriptions!!! Fair warning, I'm going at a very fast pace, so I won't have enough time to edit this until it's completely finished. I'd appreciate if you leave HELPFUL comments on what I did wrong, it would definitely make the whole editing process easier. This does NOT mean you can tear into me for mistakes, though. Thanks!

The death of the first Batman sets in for Terry McGinnis - the Batman of the future as he finds himself unable to return to his own time, yet also involved in the life of the first Robin, someone he never met in the future. The path forward is definitely unsure, what with entities from different times existing at the same time and not actually making the universe implode, but there are definitely secrets Bruce never told him about. Making matters worse, there appears to be a bleed over from his now non-existent timeline, forcing him to face his past, or his own beginning as Batman on top of dealing with the first Robin. Disclaimer - I don't own Batman Beyond or Young Justice. This is a sequel to my one-shot Gotham's Need, but this is also written for Open Novella 2020. The prompt I picked was number fourteen, "the only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once."

Gloria didn't think she was going to have to go it alone with her very first café, but when her business partner disappears and she has a lease to pay she must figure out a way to make it work. ------ NOTES: 1. Thank you for reading!!! 2. This is a FIRST DRAFT of my first novel so please be gentle with your comments :) I'm not looking for critique or editing advice but I'd love to hear if you like the story. Comments I particularly value hearing are: if the story takes you anywhere in your mind, if there's anything you're looking forward to finding out in future chapters (e.g. what happens with a specific character you're invested in, etc.) or just things you particularly enjoy reading. I've joined the #JustWriteIt challenge as well as Camp NaNoWriMo with the same challenge. I'm trying to write 10,000 words in a month. Happy reading and writing!

[CAMPNANOWRIMO 2015. VERY ROUGH FIRST DRAFT. EXPECT ERRORS] When eighteen-year old scientist Natalia O’Rourke accepted a mysterious job interview as lab assistant, she wasn’t expecting the top secret facility. Nor the strangeness of her new boss, the enigmatic — not to mention surely mad — Professor Ingvar Alkaev. She definitely wasn’t expecting to find that her new job is what had long been her dream. She had given up on that when her mother had died. Two years down the track, she is a fully fledged scientist in her own right, running her own experiments and research. And this time, nothing was going to stop her, not even the experiment she was running. Known only as experiment 7a10n, he is the oldest experiment made by the professor. Used to perfect the testing procedures, he is now Dr O’Rourke’s charge. But nineteen years of being a test subject has almost broken him. What Natalia expects — a placid, obedient specimen — is not at all what she will get. He has bided his time long enough. With the arrival of the much younger experiment known as 8e11a, the race is on to escape — and do it alive. Highest Ranking: #366 in Science Fiction!

Icarus Fate Collection Josiah Thomas is a selectively mute artist with sarcastic thoughts, nightmares and a skilled hand. Daniel Baring on the other hand is a loud, boisterous popular jock who excels at all contact sports but can not draw to save his life. These two are about to find out that everyone is a little broken and healing can come from the least expected place. Mix that with high school, crushes, soccer and a surprisingly laid back school nurse and you get a heartfelt YA novel that's not for the faint of heart. Find out how these boys fall in love, heal and deal with high school drama in this youthful tale.

Anyone with a functioning set of eyes could tell you that Daphne Darlington is the perfect candidate for the role of Glinda Upton in Pearson Highs' production of Wicked. She's equipped with perfectly pouty pink lips, a voice that can hit even the highest notes and luscious strawberry blonde hair. Not to mention that she's spent her entire high school life playing dumb. The role should be a piece of cake. That is until her ex boyfriend, her best friend and the dorky guy from her math class all decide to audition. Who knew a school musical could be this complicated? James quickly figures out the island's true purpose and he and Bahati escape with a ragtag band of rebels to tell the rest of the world about the atrocities there. "Isn't it amazing, how writers could just put themselves as characters in their stories and make those characters do things they could never do, feel things they could never feel, be someone they want to be? It's almost as if it's real." Anna and James are two completely different people; the other wants to fly, and the other wants to remain on the ground. When these two are partnered up in English class to create a story in a span of four months before the school year ends, some words are meant to be deleted, or erased, or replaced. While some words... are meant to remain.
