Camila and Lauren had been together since they were sixteen. They met in high school becoming high school sweetheart's, they began as best friends then they slowly fell in love. Everyone thought they would last forever. After graduation they stayed together through college, first jobs, and all the changes that came with growing up. Five years ago, they got married they were happy together wanting nothing else but spending the rest of their life together, they believed they could face anything as long as they had each other. But things were different now. They still lived in the same house and still wore their wedding rings, but it didn't feel like they were really together anymore.

Lauren has always gone to this diner, but what happens when a new waitress is hired? From the first impression, Lauren has been intrigued by her. She's different from anyone else she has ever met, and the way Lauren's heart felt softer in that small booth with the girl who said her name like it meant something. Will Lauren be able to win Camila's heart and protect her from the dangers of the world? On the surface, Camila is bright, bubbly, and down-to-earth; however, what's underneath is different. She holds secrets and pain close to her heart; she needs someone to protect her. Will Lauren be able to be that person? TW the story will contain mentions of mental health issues, there will be a trigger warning at the start of those chapters so if it's too much you can skip over them.

Camila is a world famous Pop Star and needs to get away from the craziness being famous entails. Struggling to hold on to who she really is. She decides to take her family on a vacation. Something unexpected bonds them. What happens when their worlds meet in the most unexpected ways!?

Lauren couldn't help herself but stare at Camila and smiled as she did the same.
