This is a complete story that are under revisions. My wish is to publish it as a physical book someday
What if I miss you for the rest of my life?
That was the question I kept asking myself after everything between us came to an end.
We were supposed to have more time. More mornings together. More stupid arguments, late-night conversations, unexpected laughter, and quiet moments where neither of us needed to say anything.
But sometimes, life doesn't give you the ending you were waiting for.
Sometimes, the person you thought you would grow old with becomes nothing more than a memory you carry for the rest of your life.
And what hurts the most?
You're the one mourning for us.
You're the one left behind, holding onto everything we once promised each other while I remain nothing but a chapter you can never rewrite.
But if you're still mourning what we had, then why does it feel like I'm the one who can't let you go?
What if I miss you for the rest of my life?
What if every place reminds me of you, every song brings me back to us, and every tomorrow feels incomplete because you're no longer there?
Maybe some love stories aren't meant to have happy endings.
Maybe some people are only meant to meet, love, lose each other, and spend the rest of their lives wondering what could have been.
Because sometimes, the hardest part isn't losing the person you love.
It's knowing that somewhere in another version of our story, we made it.
