An orphan boy codenamed Prancing Horse was found on the side of a road in Monte Carlo, Monaco, roughly 20 years ago and is raised and trained to become a master thief by a group of villains who double as the faculty at V.I.L.E. Academy, a school for thieves and secret criminal organization, located on the Isle of V.I.L.E. in the Canary Islands. Prancing Horse considers the island and faculty his home and family until he learns the organization's true nature. After seeing how much harm V.I.L.E causes, he goes rogue, escapes the island at the age of 19, and adopts the name Charles Leclerc. Now, in his early 20s, he seeks to take down V.I.L.E. by stealing things they have already stolen, returning them to their rightful place or owner and stopping their future heists and plans from being executed. Charles's friends and team are white-hat hacker Lando or as codenamed Player, who works as recon tech support, and French siblings Pierre (former F1 driver) and Esteban (car mechanic) who help him on-site and often act as distractions or operate various get-away vehicles. He treats each one of them with care like they're his own family, and together, they set out to thwart V.I.L.E.'s criminal schemes all while on the run from the mysterious law enforcement agency, A.C.M.E., who have set their sights on arresting V.I.L.E and Charles, whom they suspect has connections to V.I.L.E. To find her, they decide to rebuild the old team. Alongside Player, Shadow-san and Graham- who has been living a crime-free life since leaving the hospital after V.I.L.E's downfall- they dive into the track. And what will she do when parts of her past become present again? The story after Carmen and Player decided to go and find the breeze thats been calling to Carmen, just begging her to follow it. They meet new friends and bring along some old ones. Carmen is red-hot on a trail to find her destiny. And since they need to follow a path thats been laid out for them, they have to take cars, and maybe even an old fashiond carriage! No Planes Allowed. Carmen will learn what it was like when everyone had to travel this way. This is the book describing the beginning of her epic journey to find what that mysterious necklace is bringing her to. (Like a senorita from a movie, doesn't Carmen look super mysterious with her hair blowing in the wind like that....) All credit goes the creators of the songs and the story of Carmen Sandiego is is not mine. I just like adding my spin on things. (The 'Wind in My Hair' song fits with Carmen well doesn't it?) Their time of peace did not last, since V.I.L.E escaped prison and found them to get revenge. Graham sacrificed his life to save his daughter. Carmen realized that this was not a life she wanted her daughter to live, she asked someone to take care of her, so she could grow up and live a life she never could. In the present, she now has a great life, but little did she know that V.I.L.E has finally found her again and they want to get rid of her for good. Will Scarlett ever find out her true past and reconcile with her mother so that they could finally live happily ever after?
