It's here that Nate and fellow survivor Daryl Dixon find the one thing that had eluded them for so long. But the Governor has just played his final hand, tearing their family apart. The Grimes family lived a normal life, with their dad being the deputy sheriff, their mom staying home to look after the kids, where the oldest spent his time outside of school as a ranch hand on a nearby farm while his little brother went to school and did his chores, where they'd all end the night sitting around the table eating dinner. Or at least that's what it was like before their dad got shot and put into a coma, making Kayce the oldest a true man of the house like his mom Lori always feared. Especially as the world began to come to an end and the dead began coming to life and killing them, leaving with no choice but to run. Where in a world with no order, you have to do things to keep the people you care about safe, and in doing so, he became known by many as the gunslinger.

Your routine is simple: wake up (reluctantly), get ready, have breakfast, go to work, finish your shift, and go home. Easy, right? It would be easier if your roommate, Anthony, helped with chores, but you love him anyway! Your life was normal, and you preferred it that way. That is, until you rescued a clown from being publicly beaten. Pretty sweet of you, right? But this small act will cost you something much bigger... Harper Pittman is rejoined with her aunt Carol, her cousin Sophia and her not so likable uncle Ed after the zombie apocalypse begins. Harper hides her past moving through each day with the wish to forget it. When she's forced it she's not alone but with none other than Daryl Dixon. After months with a group, Harper begins to discover her feelings of love for a special member of the group. But surviving and protecting the ones you love become more and more difficult by the day as the wild zombie Surviving adventure continues.

"Don't leave!" The fading redhead took a step forward to the man. "What the hell do ya want me to do here?! Hmm?! Nobody wants Merle, Im stickin' with my brother Mia" Daryl snapped at the young Walsh girl. "Just come home!" She begged as her eyes teared up. "Tha' aint my damn home woman!" He growled trying his best to ignore her broken look. Daryl turned around, slinging the crossbow angrily over his shoulder as he walked through the timber with Merle. Never giving that Walsh girl another look. Mia stood there as the tears began to fall down her cheeks, her shoulders dropping. Rick sadly looked at the girl, recognizing the look on the girls face. She's been broken once again.
