This is a crossover between Z Nation and The Walking Dead. The two groups (Operationbitemark and Team Family) come together to fight against the Saviors along side the Hilltop an The Kingdom. I originally started to write this on my Instagram (okay5k)

It's still year three. My brother and dad, dead. So many of my friends, my family, dead. Our home, the prison, was destroyed by a mad man. So many have died, or vanished, with us never knowing what has come upon them. We escaped, but all of us parting our own way. I made it out alone, with my horse and dog. Later rescued by a girl, Missi, then reunited with my family. We all escaped the 'Sanctuary'. Well most of me anyways. My hand was decapitated, now covered with a white bandage. Now I can't use a gun, or my slingshot. But I still have my family. My best friend, Trigger, who will stand by my side, till the end. My uncle, my aunt, my friends. They're all I need. But I've now learned... My Daddy's not actually dead....

Living a mirserable life, one day Carol deciedes to leave the town of West Hills and go somewhere new. She takes the Escalade and heads south to Georgia. She then finds herself in the small town of Carsonville where she mets a handsome Daryl Dixon.

carol and daryl were in high school together until he broke her heart and left. Years later Carol is in an abusive marriage hoping to be saved, adopting young orphan Lizzie who falls in love with new friend Carl. Will Carol and Daryl ever find happiness? Life is a bumpy journey, love evens the road out.

It seems like people then and now don't completely understand the definition of "home." We've used this term for many years now referring to a place where humans live. Without people, homes wouldn't be homes. So what is a home, or house? That is a matter of opinion and the view of life. . .

This story takes place after Beth dies, before Aaron tells them about Alexandria. Daryl and Carol decide to go off by themselves, and ditch Rick & Co. In hopes of starting over, they see that they are more than just people that bond over their past.

When two damaged people are united, there forms a bond stronger than love. Something deeper. Truer. And that's exactly the case for Daryl and Carol, even if it takes them a long time to realize it. This story couldn't be possible without the help of my good friend carol_twd and of course Caryl.
