Especially with the arrival of Karai and her father, the Shredder, there's no time to admit feelings or even denying what's really going on in their hearts. One day on a school trip to TCRI with special access, courtesy of Peter, the turtles see it as a perfect opportunity for April, May and their new friend Casey to investigate without being detected. When watching the animals and insects being experimented on, a spider laced with the same mutagen that affected the turtles bites May, causing her to faint and call the mission a bust. After May regains her strength, she discovers her new abilities, which soon become hard to control. With the help of Leo and the other turtles, she becomes a new vigilante, known as Spiderwoman. Now that the Kraang and Shredder know about Peter Parker's work, he unknowingly becomes a tool to help their plans... Each day is a new mission and struggle.
