It is not fed thrice a day and has to look out for itself. Where, when or what the next meal is is uncertain. It has to fight for survival and kill or get killed in the process. The chapters are accompanying the cat and show what dangers it encounters throughout its day to day life as well as the cheerful aspects of being a cat and not caring nor knowing about humans and their problems.
