"I really can't believe you're denying me in bed as a punishment, Jadesola." He growled, his voice laced with a dangerous edge to it. I paused in the middle of applying my beauty mask but refused to grant him my attention. "I believe I am not talking to a mannequin, Jade? Or are you going to ignore me as well?" When he met with silence, he stood up from the bed and began to walk closer to where I sat. He really wanted me to talk huh?! "William, you went ahead and did what I requested, no, I made you promise not to do. And you expect me to jump into your bed like a dog on heat afterwards? Why consult me now if you can make your decisions on your own." My body still sat in front of that mirror, but it was far from relaxed anymore, being in the same space with Williams always yielded that result. "I'll have you know that I am still your husband, Jade!" His clouded expression of frustration made me smile inwardly. "And I hope you also recollect I'm still your wife." I replied with just as much force and stood to my feet. In a relationship that was written-off as a failure, sparks with intense electricity is what had always been avoided. That was of course, until Cupid decided to shoot arrows and feelings are caught. Is it supposedly a disaster when the union is seen as a doom by possessors? SLOW UPDATES! ❇️ 2018 WATTYS WINNER! The Originals category ❇️ - "The Breakfast Club" meets "Nancy Drew" in this most unusual YA Mystery. SUMMARY: Five high school students, with little in common other than being descendants of the town founders, are forced to work on a history project together. But when their history project uncovers evidence of a long-buried town secret, the kids must piece together the clues behind their discovery before its legacy comes back to haunt them. ***** Using ACTUAL, archival material (some dating as far back as 1776), The Descendants weaves a tale of mystery and intrigue, constructed entirely from real photographs, documents, and snippets of history from a small, rural town in New Hampshire. What Dan Brown did with conspiracy theories in "The DaVinci Code" and Ransom Riggs did with historical photographs in "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children," I will attempt to do in "The Descendants," but with teen protagonists and the Cheshire County Historical Society. :-) Why? 'Cause I'm crazy like that! Yeah, I know...History?! Blah! But it actually turned out really fun! :-)

Except for the unexpected visit from the figurative angel of doom, more interested in playing a twisted game of cat and dog than having a tea party like any visitor should. In this thrilling tale of the hate that abides in love, the truth sheltered in lies and secrets dancing in the open, Grace would understand that the greatest of her fears should be love. ____________ 𝐀 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫. 'Home for the Holidays' takes an unexpected flip when Alicia has to spend the christmas break of her freshman year on college campus due to travel complications. Celebrating christmas by herself shouldn't be much of a big deal, but when it's on another freaking continent-- thousands of miles away from her family-- it's obvious Alicia will catch the 'Scrooge and Grinch' syndrome this season. Maybe if the long-haired girl with the extra chunky boots and goofy, lopsided smile decided to invite her over instead of roaming outside without a coat like a psychopath, she'd have a merry Christmas after all. But things like that take miracles, Alicia doesn't believe in those.

Ch 1- Ch 6 available on wattpad. The rest of the book (45 chapters) is available for purchase on Amazon, eBook and paperback. The first thing people think when they see Nat walking the streets of The French Quarter in New Orleans is, "so young and pretty, such a shame that she's homeless". Then they don't pay her anymore attention as she plucks their wallets right out of their pockets. That was her life. Stealing just to survive. Unless she got a big job; setting wealthy tourist men up to get robbed and that day she had found the perfect target. It wasn't until she was stabbed and losing consciousness that she learned she was his perfect target. Waking up in a small, grimy room with five strangers around her, she's enlightened that she's been kidnapped by none other than the Mass Grave Killer. It was simple. He kidnapped ten people, held them for two years, and then buried their bodies in a mass grave, and he had been doing it for over six years already, but there was no way that Nana was going to lie down and let him kill her. If she could survive fighting grown men for tent space, she could fight another for her life. Every day of those two years she fights for her life and when time is almost up she finds the strength to kill the man that tortured ten people for two years and finally escapes. She's free, but not without scars. For the next two years, she tries to piece her life back together between the flashbacks, nightmares, and anxiety attacks, and just when she thinks things are looking good, she comes face to face with her nightmares. Tha man she killed has come back from the grave, and the only thing he wants is to start over with her. Having to constantly look over her shoulder, she now has to run for her life and try to catch him before he catches her.
