An honest reflection on parenting a child with special needs.

This is the story of Thomas Barrow. Thomas Barrow has been working as the first footman at Downton Abbey for years. He's always been careful to keep his personal life hidden from the prying eyes of the other staff members and the Crawley family. But everything changes. One day, Thomas is hurt by a guest. At first, he thinks it's just a minor injury, but as time goes on, he starts to feel strange. Eventually, he realizes that he's pregnant. To make matters even more complicated, Thomas discovers that he's a carrier - a rare genetic anomaly that allows him to conceive and carry a child. He's never heard of anything like it before, and he's not sure how to handle the situation. As he struggles to come to terms with his unexpected pregnancy and his newfound identity as a carrier, Thomas must also navigate the challenges of life at Downton Abbey. He worries about what the other staff members will think of him, and how the Crawley family will react when they find out. But despite all the obstacles in his way, Thomas is determined to have a healthy pregnancy and become a loving parent. With the help of his closest friends and allies, he faces the future with courage and determination, ready to embrace whatever comes his way.

this is basically like advice for anyone like me, just saying what i dislike, telling you about shit that happens in my life like a blog really. it's dumb i know but people might not understand how it's like to be me. I guess I just want to feel understood.

Just me sharing my general perspective on life as I navigate Work life and friends. As a differently abled person. feel free to roll along with me as I explore what it's like adapting in a world that is under the misguided belief that they can tell you who you are, and what you're capable of as a person. I may have cerebral palsy, but I've never let it stop me from achieving any of my goals and that's never gonna change. With that said, here is how I do things differently. Enjoy the ride.

In the town of Carbondale live multiple teens with much different stories than usual. Marcus Bonn, a sixteen year old sophomore, has been living with cerebral palsy his whole life due to a failed abortion attempt by his homophobic, abusive redneck family. He realizes he is gay, but would be beaten if his family found out. So he pursues his secret life by drawing paintings and keeping them "in his closet." When he meets a boy that will change his life, his life changes for the good, but Marcus's dark past could trigger horrible outcomes, or, could it be positive change? Jake Leeds, seventeen, is also hiding a big secret: he's a gay music lover! But, all of Carbondale sees him as a straight jock. He's outed when his teenage hormones make him show a homosexual act in the locker room towards a boy named David, making him lose all of his friends and personal respect. His sister, Haley, is in Marcus's class and is very close to him, but a dark past and secret feelings of her own will cause her relationship with herself and her family to plummet. When Jake meets Marcus, the two immediately bond, but the pathway to full trust is shaky. After all, Marcus, the poor kid with the disabilities isn't hiding any other secrets of his own, is he? David Hernandez is a Mexican student studying at Carbondale, but he is facing problems of his own. When the local authorities find out that David's father has been living undocumented, anything but the truth can keep this family together. Three anonymous writers who tell their own Carbondale High stories cause three huge problems to corrupt the city of Carbondale, but the problem is, who are they? Life is hard enough when you are what the rest of the world calls "normal", but it's even harder when you don't fit that mold. Krissy Baylor has never fit that mold and her whole life she's been made out to be the freak. With high school starting, Krissy's anxiety skyrockets and she knows everything will only get worse. Yet, when Krissy meets another girl who also doesn't fit the normal mold, a beautiful friendship and journey of inclusivity spark. Along with other friends, they set out to help create the world they wanna live in. Through highs, lows, and tragedy; the group sets sites on changing the world.
