Inspired by Turkish actor Can Yaman's 2018-2019 series "Erkenci Kus", this story is the continuation of chapters from "If Only....I Could Forgive Myself " written by Virginia Dewberry. Can Yaman's character Can Divit has brought Sanem Aydin (Demet Ozdemir's character) from Chania back home to Istanbul. They have forgiven each other and themselves and are excited to begin their fairy tale life together. However, other people in their lives seem destined to interfere with their happiness.

This is my one-shot take on a scene from episode 19 of one of my all time fave Turkish series, Erkenci Kus. Can and Sanem got stuck in the elevator got into a heated argument that stayed heated even after they got out. This is what happened on the morning after. Turkish actor Can Yaman's 2018-2019 series of Erkenci Kus (Early Bird) is the story of a powerful and extraordinary love between a world-famous photographer and a young and innocent girl, and sparked long-lasting interest from Yaman's fan fiction writers.
