a few preferences when i was 15 so no hate

This poem was inspired by the movie 'The Vow'. I really loved that movie. The last sentence honestly broke my heart For those who don't know what the last sentence was, it went something like this: "The couple, that this movie was inspired by, today is happily married and they have two kids, but her memories never came back." You must really love one person, to actually accept the fact that all of your old memories are somewhere deep in your heart, but not in theirs too. Also the fact that they started everything all over again and gave each other a second chance, makes it even more perfect than it already is. I could vent on and on about this movie, but I guess that's not the point of this description. Moving on; I'm well aware that my poem isn't exactly the same as the movie and maybe some of you may even think that it doesn't have anything in common at all, but this is just my point of view and I think I gave a little bit of myself into it. I'm also aware that a lot of things in my poem do not even rhyme and that my writing is not as graceful as it could be, but I'm trying to improve it. If you read this, you are awesome *throws flowers at you*

"Hey, keep your head up baby okay?" I couldn't look at him. I was too upset. Tears ran down my face. He kissed my forehead. My boyfriend, Channing, was going away to Iraq for a year. He was my everything. I couldn't do it. He gave me a hug and I just hugged him tight. I didn't want to let him go. "Tatum! Time to go!" When I heard that, I started crying even more. I stood with Ashley as I cried. I waved goodbye to the plane as it took off. "I'll see you soon. I love you" I whispered. I went back to the car with Ashley. "Ash can you drive? I wouldn't be able to focus." "Yeah of course" I went over to the passenger side and looked out the window. We were on the interstate and I started to cry again. "Awh mads it's okay. He'll be back I promise" we got home and I just went straight to bed to find no one laying next to me.
