This story is based in the year 1930, A group of friends attending Oxford in the UK: Elara Vance - Main Character Beatrice "Bea" Montogomery - a effervescent force studying Art History, always adorned in too many silk scarves. Isobel "Izzy" Reed - quiet and razor-sharp, whose brilliant mind tackled mathematics and who often had to be reminded to eat. Julian Croft - a brooding poet (or so he claimed) studying Classics, whose pockets always overflowed with crumpled verses. Arthur "Artie" Penhaligon - a boisterous Law student from Cornwall, who was the loud, laughing heart of their cluster. The group-Elara and her chosen family-were an inseparable unit of five. They met in their first year, drawn together like fragments of different puzzles that somehow created a perfect image. And this is their story about how they discover the secrets of Oxford, making friends along the way and managing to stay out of trouble.
