But Matt's extracurricular activities - the ones that include him beating up criminals in alleyways - prove to be a roadblock, as well as a catalyst, in his and Skyler's relationship. Matt finds his feelings changing as events in the city unravel steadfastly. Time is running out for the city, the woman he loves, and his own four walls. He is nothing if not gentle, and above all, soft.

Set sometime after the end of season 2 of Daredevil (maybe season 3, but I'm not sure). You might be glad to know this isn't lovey-dovey fanfic too. An intruder barges into Nelson and Murdock's office with the intention of exposing Matt's identity; equip with a blade, handgun, and a camera to record Matt Murdock's true self: The Devil of Hell's Kitchen. Of course, nothing goes smoothly, but Matt notices something that no one else does about the intruder. The true colours of the attacker unfold, revealing a peculiar and gruesome ability which poses a great threat to Daredevil and his friends. This fanfic is inspired by Marvel Netflix's Daredevil. I do not own the characters or concept. I also do not own the cover photo for this story/fanfic. The artist is unknown. This fanfic will contain violence, swearing, gore, blood, injury detail and possibly other sensitive content. She knows there's a torch somewhere, light, hope to banish out the darkness, but her eyes haven't been accustomed to the dense shadows yet and she's just too afraid to search. Unaware of how, Elizabeth finds herself amidst a bunch of criminals in a gun fight with a familiar one man army - the black clad vigilante of Hell's Kitchen. Daredevil. Life seems to enjoy her struggles though and she ends up at the doorstep of two attorneys, where she slowly but surely is drawn to a certain blind lawyer. Matthew Murdock. Unknowingly, Elizabeth finds herself getting to know the devil professionally and personally. But it's up to time to readjust those two separate images into one. Start: 9th November, 2016
