This story was written to be entered in several writing competitions. Unfortunately, my insecurities did not allow it to even see the inside of my email account. Hence I am posting it somewhere people will read and appreciate it instead of passing judgement on it. The story deals with sensitive subjects. It does not have a description. Please read and leave feedback!

Arnav closed his eyes and remembered "Arnav, You know there comes a time in every man's life, when he must honor the bonds that tie him. I have my earnest request. I have found a girl, who I believe will bring joy and prosperity to our family. Marry this girl, not for me but for you, for our family" someone's gentle voice rang in his mind. He opened his eyes only to see his reflection in the mirror dressed as a groom. MARRIAGE... Arnav never thought he would be ready for a thing called marriage. "Ma..." Arnav hugged her. "Aru what's wrong? Is everything okay?" Aarthi asked him. "Nothing Ma.. just wanted to hug you" he lied pulling back from the hug. Deepu came all dressed and stood beside him. Rajat and Shekar were attending guests while Aarthi was with Arnav. Siddarth was nowhere to be seen. If you ask me Was everything resolved between Arnav and Rajat? The answer is NO. As he reached the Mandtap, he could see the large crowd, friends, relatives and family. In another 20 minutes he will be married. And there... She walked with a shy smile on her lips looking at him while he looked expressionless gazing at the holy fire. She sat beside him. Her heart was thumbing loudly. Her man is making her go Gaga. My handsome man!!! DOCTOR!! My love!! My babyyyyyyy!!! her mind was screaming. The priest was chanting holy recites and it was time for Arnav to tie the knot around her neck while she looked down shyly. He held nuptial chain in his hands, he looked at Aarthi and Shekar and they smiled at him. He came forward tying the holy chain around Krishi's neck when a tear escaped from her eyes. He filled her partition with a pinch of vermilion and some spilled on her nose. As the sacred fire flickered, Arnav and Krishi stood together, ready to embark on the journey of marital bliss. Officially ARNAV AND KRISHI are HUSBAND AND WIFE now!!!!

(COMPLETED, UNEDITED) It all started with the Project Breinox. All countries were alerted of the spreading BV-18, also known as the brain virus. The government wanted to take an action immediately to prevent this from affecting people so they had come up with a project that could help to cure the carriers of the virus. Five top students, a chemist professor, two scientists and two doctors join forces to make a medicine in altering the dangerous virus from spreading in human's system. During the project, they encountered problems that made things worse. Despite the stumbling blocks, the Breinox project was eventually perfected after many trials, but the process had a cost. A certain person suffered something he shouldn't have and it affected his way of remembering.
