When a nuclear explosion brings down a private aircraft en route to an international academic summit in Russia, the 1st Year Students of ANHS finds themselves stranded in the desolate Arctic-injured, disoriented, and hunted. Cut off from civilization, surrounded by snow and silence, the students are forced to face a brutal new reality. Supplies are scarce. Temperatures are lethal. And outside, armed soldiers move with sinister intent, and other things warped by radiation stalk the wreckage under a dead sky. But survival isn't their only concern.
