A middle school girl who has lost her father to a terrible accident has almost everything in her life except her dad. She suddenly starts to lose all of those amazing things due to bullying and the harsh reality of the world.

This is my entry in the #WonderTheMovie contest

One act of kindness can make a world of a difference.

Being different was never easy. Emily Krist could testify to that. The fourteen year old had lost her left leg in a battle with cancer when she was two. Mister and Misses Krist decided that it was in Emily's best interest to start going to school her freshman year, rather than being homeschooled. This is her story.

Parker grew up with Calloway and is used to seeing him running through the halls in a cape and mask, clutching a comic book to his chest. Nobody knew why until his teacher finally explained to the class that his father, a comic book artist, dissapeared and that it's effected him in ways that nobody can really explain. Grady, the school bully, has been using Calloway's coping mechanisms as a reason to make fun of him in any way possible. Will Parker be the hero, and friend, that Calloway needs? (Word Count: 499)

A Caucasian cop and African American cop are like 2 peas in a pot and then a new police comes in that is Caucasian as well. So the 2 Caucasians get close and tend to leave the African American officer out of things. Will the African American cop become friends with both of them or stay mutual?!

"If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all." He one day made the act of zipping his mouth shut, locking it, and throwing the key out. This time, it would be permanent.

She wakes up, gets ready for school, and puts on her mask. Throughout her best efforts to stay invisible, it's hard in an all white school. Her biggest bully, August Avery. Everyone loves him, including the principle. What August doesn't know is that Yeon Soo leads a completely different life at home, one that even the horrors of school can't drown out

One person can change everything. ••• Avery has been an orphan her whole life. She doesn't even know what her real name is, she was dropped off at the front door of an orphanage while rain poured down on her when she was only a week old. Nobody loved her. Nobody adopted her. She is now fifteen years old and is soon to turn sixteen and still without a family and no friends. Avery was lost, she was the only person in the whole orphanage who sat her whole life watching kids come and go. Even watched as old workers would pass away or quit, and new ones would come in to take their place.
