James is living his dreams, he's a kid on Christmas two weeks early. He's always wanted to be in Disneyland for the holidays and this is the year it all works out for him. He got promoted and his increased salary allowed him to splurge and spend some money to be the happiest man on earth in the happiest place on earth. It's all going to plan until he stumbles into Vera. After hearing what happened to her, Jamies decides to make these next few days of their vacation the best they can be and cheer her up to enjoy the happiest place on earth during the greatest time of year. ... Short story about fake dates, learning to appreciate the holidays without competition, dealing with feelings, and strangers changing lives in only a few short days.
