Jace smiled as he sighed. "You can be pretty tiresome, Clearwater." "I know, Wayland." Two months before Clary enters the scene comes Diana (Dia). Diana has the ability to read minds and see into other peoples' memories... involuntarily. When she and her best friend, and fellow Nephilim, Aiden, find the Institute, they aren't met with the warmest greeting; in fact, Dia is pinned against a wall. Being overwhelmed with the situation, Diana ends up fainting and falling onto Jace. He seems to be mesmerized by her, and over time they grow to be friends... or more. But then comes Clary... This is an AU set in a more modern setting in the years 2022/23 (Depends on when I finish the story) Edits to the story, cover and tags will most likely be made as I'm writing this.

The Mortal Instruments but set in middle school. Some details will be changed because of their age and some because I'm going to try and rewrite the book(s) from memory. I used to love this series so much, but I haven't read City of Bones since maybe tenth grade, and I'm not going to look up any information so it's more interesting. It's going to be very clear which parts I've forgotten, and I hope it's funny because it will be for me. Test your shadowhunter knowledge.

Eden has been suffering dreams/nightmares that are very realistic. One night she had a dream of a stranger that left her speechless. She decided to ignore it because why would it mean anything? It's just a dream after all. She goes out one day and sees the same boy that was in the dream. She discovers something shocking and gets sucked in to a world of weird. --- this story will not be the best because I've never done anything like this before so I'm really sorry but I will try my best.

Instead of life imprisonment at the city of Bones they came to an agreement that she would be stripped of her runes and banished from Idris to live alone in the Mundane world, cut off completely from her world. The Shadow world. But now the Clave need her help. Just like her siblings Aviana was an amazing fighter and one of the best the clave have ever seen with the new threat of Valentine lurking in the shadows the Clave call on her to rejoin her shadow hunter life and family but will she be willing to leave the new Mundane life she has made for herself? Or more importantly the people in it?
