Together, they must uncover the truth, find Jace and Clary, and stop Thorn before he tears the Shadow World apart. But as secrets unravel and feelings grow, Charlie finds herself caught between two boys- and a legacy she never asked for.

Clary has to make a decision- who will she marry? But she doesn't take into account their wealth or title, she wants to marry someone who truly cares about her. She wants a marriage opposite to her parent's one. All the same characters make appearances throughout this story, and the outcomes will be the same as those in The Mortal Instruments but in different circumstances.
