Claire (Clarice) Williams A 14 year old girl who is swarmed by unknown emotions. Most days she feels trapped, like she can't be herself or she'll be laughed at or excluded, even more than she already is. She just moved to Wakefield from Saugatuck, Michigan, all because her dad got a job opportunity at one of the local schools. Her mother was a test pilot, until one tragic day... she crashed in an open field in Flora, Oregon. Nobody found her for weeks, but when they did, her body was charred to bits. Nobody could recognize her except for Claire. She new her mother by every bone in her body. Its been two years since then. It seemed that everyone had moved on, but Clarice had reoccurring nightmares and panic attacks that she kept secret. She didn't want to worry her dad, John about it. It would just be another burden to him, he already had to deal with her whining about having to move 8 hours away and losing all her friends. What she as really doing was worrying him to death.
