On the planet Janus, six iron-age tribes have formed an uneasy alliance against the perils that face them. In addition to the ferocious predators that roam the continent, bandit tribes search for loot, and dramatic changes of climate periodically force everyone to undertake long, perilous migrations to escape blizzards and drought. When the signs point to the imminent onset of another climate change, trouble breaks out between two of the allied tribes, forcing Tarvos and a small group of friends to undertake a perilous quest to the other side of the continent. Can Tarvos rescue the beautiful Daphnis, kidnapped by bandits, and return to his tribe before his entire family and everyone he knows leaves to begin their five thousand mile migration north? And how will they react as they begin to uncover clues that point to the secret of Janus? The discovery that he and all his people are the unwitting accomplices to the greatest crime in the history of mankind?

The year is 8 billion and the Sun is dying. The richest of humanity has made its way to the distant Life planet Cerulone, leaving behind billions to die. Fast-evolving alien flora invades local ecosystems, converting acres and acres of land to thorny waste. Cultivation is impossible, and life on Earth is nearly extinct. The last humans on the face of the planet are plagued by a fatal disease, starvation and unquenchable thirst. In the midst of this survives Kun, a part of a band of youths. They fight to live each day, stealing and killing for anything they need as is the way of this world. Little do they know what is coming their way. A dangerous journey through the vast desert that is Earth for a sliver of hope. Is it worth it?

The smoke wraps tendrils around your legs and sinks into your skin. Dry coughs scrape their blunt nails down your throat and the smoke penetrates deeper, sliding a hand around your neck and s q u e e z i n g. Everything is blurry now. Your breath comes in short, sharp bursts. You hear hoarse sobs in between rasping coughs. Blood and saliva drips onto the dead grass. Too late. *** It's always the quiet, unassuming events that foretell the end. That's where the movies get it wrong. The world won't go out with a bang. It will slowly burn right in front of our eyes as we pretend that we like the warmth. Then when we finally come to our senses and we are no longer blinded by money and greed, it will be too late. Each chapter represents a flower where you can collect and exchange nectar (our pieces of knowledge and points of view); the goal is to incite the reader to think critically and formulate their thoughts, the honey which you will eventually store in your brain, the honeycomb.

The words Climate Change have entered our vocabulary with hurricane force. It's difficult to pick up a newspaper, view the evening news, or read more than a few minutes on social networks, or the web without encountering these words. But what do they mean? Is climate really changing? How is it changing? Hasn't it always changed? Didn't we just recover from an ice age that ended only ten thousand years ago; and, didn't Europe just recover from a mini ice age that ended only a few centuries ago? So, what does climate change really mean? Does any one know? If these questions interest you, then please read on, as I try to shed some light on this complex, socio-political issue.

All is not well in the underworld; particularly the little nook which Hades called his office. Hell's numbers are down, Persephone has left him, and to add insult to injury, Hades' new PA leaves a great deal to be desired. Too heartsick to fix things with his wife and quite frankly unable to comprehend the working of his assistant's mind, Hades turns his energies to boosting admissions to the underworld. The story begins in year 2296 in and around McMurdo Station, Antarctica which is approximately 3,000 miles south of South Africa. Climate change and radiation caused by human activity has raised temperatures and made the atmosphere unbreathable. Many plant and animal species have become extinct, and civilization collapsed long ago. The people who have survived live underground to escape from the heat.

Some people complains the nature is tormenting them. Neither did they know it was them who were the cause of this suffering. Deforestation, polluting smoke and other natural disturbances make the Earth facing global warming and climate changes. Now, there is no turning back. However, there is a rectification. Shall we stand together on this or continue to live in misery of our own doings? 🌏🌍🌎🌕🌚🌖🌗🌔🌓 Sonita, a high school girl who once experiences the effect of climate change, promises to stand tall and fought for a place to live. And now the Ottawa Police and the Canadian Security and Intelligence Agency were enquiring about the goings on at Silverwood School. All this involved me because I was born in the future, Murga was trying to kidnap me and Mandia was installed in my school. My problems started in 2160 CE when my scientist grandfather genetically altered my chromosomes so I could fly (but only when I was in the curvature of negative space-time). And, my father had taken me to the present time to protect me from Murga. Meanwhile, Triple Oh, an officer of the Time Agency, was trying to arrest Murga and had assigned his undercover goose, Duncan MacPhun as my bodyguard.
