In a dystopian future, an acidic flood reigns and the only signs of old life lie in the deep. We are here today to discuss the situation of the unspoken. People are aware of what's happening with our earth. But they just proceed with life. No one ever stopped to think. What if all of this reached to an end? What if the future, we prepared hard for our children, was nowhere to be found? What if all of these materialistic manners vanished in seconds? We are challenging a storm. A storm beyond human control. A storm that would be the end of the human race as we know it. You think that life is a cycle? I know some of you would say 'Just because everything is changing, doesn't mean it has never been this way before' but this isn't Narnia we are talking about. This is real life. "My eyes flashed open and I jolted upright. Where was I? Around me I could see trees and rocks but I didn't recognise any of it. I got up, slowly, taking in my surroundings. I was alone in what appeared to be the middle of a forest. Suddenly I heard movement, a slight rustling sound coming from behind me. Cautiously, I turned around, and my eyes fell upon a the figure of a person. From this far, I couldn't make out who it was but I could see two things. One was that this person, whoever they were, was facing away from me. The second was that this person looked familiar, although I had no recollection of ever meeting them. And then I woke up." I'm a dilittante poet, as you will plainly see. But I'm versed in the language of science, and I'm alarmed by what I see. Yes, planet Earth is in peril, and the day of reckoning is near. So, I have turned to poetry, to share with you what I see, from the backdrop of my science degree. ENJOY!!!

It is the summer of The Great Shift. A media witch hunt has begun, tracing everyone responsible for misleading the public about human induced climate change. Nate Richards left in a hurry, with only the clothes on his back; barely escaping the throngs of paparazzi and vigilantes at his gate. Finding a backwater island in the South Pacific for his hideaway, he tries to unravel the confusion. Bella is escaping her own personal terror in London. Hidden in her luggage is an urn. Desperate to find a safe place for her baby's remains she is drawn to the perfect island. Protected from new comers by the Foveaux Strait (which has become enraged by rising sea temperatures) she hopes to find tranquility at last. But will they both find the peace they are searching for? And will it survive when their secrets are uncovered?

So, the United Nations created an organization for governing the collapsed area, called " The Boardman ". Here's a story of Elliot, a teenager who is still in high school, facing the effect of The Hurdle.

An implicit agreement among members of a society to co-operate for social benefits , a public policy formulation model to improve human development. Even though my story focuses , specifically , on South Africa , it extends further beyond the boarders of the country . Social compact is bigger than just one or two countries , it is a worldwide phenomenon .

We've all heard of Climate change, climate crisis, global warming. They all are talking about the same thing, climates are changing,and we are left to feel the impacts. Despite the volcanic eruption that took away those I love most, I still have a hope that one day, all these will be a thing of the past, a hope for TOMORROW. This is my story, a journey through loss, grief, adversity, resilience and hope.
