Idris has a terrible morning - a morning so terrible, he'd love to just disappear into thin air. But the world forces his hand, and so he finds himself in a coffee shop, needing to get his caffeine boost to survive the day. He couldn't expect to stumble into June, a woman so unlike and yet so very like him, that he doesn't know what to make of her. A story about the strange way of life, and how special we actually are. not having a clue what astral phenomenon is she woke up- accidentally experiencing it. she found herself in-front of a cafe shop, she met a guy where they talked about her confusion and ended up talking about life. in an astral projection she woke up from a feeling of Idyllic.

Currently, she is jobless with a few savings and a lot of unpaid bills. Listening to podcasts is one of her latest pastimes. On December 31st, she comes across the 'Shush! & Listen' podcast which turns out to be very rude but maybe she will learn a truth or two about her life though that.

Grant has big dreams of taking his company worldwide. That involves going in public, including a stop for coffee on his way to the train station. A small voice behind him piques his interest, but Grant is laser focused is on his goals. He knows how to exist... but is there more to life? Brinley Toupes is twenty years old. In her mind, life at home with her parents and overprotective brother was the pits. All she had wanted the last few years was to graduate high school then leave for greener pastures. When she left home, she had one mission--graduate with an Early Childhood Education degree and enjoy the freedom she has always yearned for. Since leaving her hometown two years ago, she's managed to keep her head down and her big brother at bay. Stopping at a coffee shop was only meant to calm her nerves from the impending visit from her brother. Treyton Finch is twenty years old. After graduating high school, he dove headfirst into being a Navy Seal. In the two years since joining, he's made a small family out of his brothers on the field, Bear and Animal. He's never needed or wanted anything other than the two guys he called family. Stopping in a random coffee shop before leaving on a mission, finding the perfect girl was no where on his radar. What seemed a typical visit to the coffee shop for Cassinda ended up in a disaster when a man was murdered and the detectives found a trace of her magic on the body. _ My entry for the Coffee and Crime Contest.
