She has been waiting for a change for years and when she receives a call of acceptance from a prestigious university one day, she believes her life is about to change. She runs away from home to a new town to embrace this opportunity but are things the way they seem to be? [[Written for Ambassador's prompt of Watt-a-Decade celebration 'The Visitor']] ------- 4️⃣ THE UNINSPIRING PODCAST 2020 has been a crazy year - not just for you and me, but also for the girl in this story, whose life has changed drastically in the pandemic. Currently, she is jobless with a few savings and a lot of unpaid bills. Listening to podcasts is one of her latest pastimes. On December 31st, she comes across the 'Shush! & Listen' podcast which turns out to be very rude but maybe she will learn a truth or two about her life though that.

One coffee cup ☕ One encounter 🙅🙎 One statement 💭 Chelsea McAndrews is an eighteen year old introvert. Due to her overbearing parents, she catch the next flight to London and stays with her brother... It is true that some love stories or stories in general are found in a coffee shop. Perhaps, it is no coincidence that coffee shops do not only brew coffee, but also amazing love stories. Is few weeks in a coffee shop enough to brew life-changing, blissful moments between two people?

At 18, Daisy's life was normal with schooling and her part time job as a barista. One simple chemical reaction made her too self conscious with people, although the damage was only on her eyes brows and merely temporary. A stranger's appearance at her workplace with his weird stare at her hideously designer brows and a wrong tasting order could have all been a deal breaker. Instead, she was left with a two valuable lesson. One on appreciating life's inflicted scars even though temporary and another; strangers can touch and change one's lives too. 'Espressoly For You' is a short story which will leave you with a smile on your face. This is written for a Chicklit contest #coffeeshopsbrewstories. Everyday, Maddie goes into Heavenly Blends for her daily dose of caffeine. However, today is different because she meets Justin, whose warm, playful personality is inviting to Maddie. Through playful banter and a bit of flirting, she finds herself enjoying the conversation a lot more than she cares to admit. Conflict arises when Justin has to leave sooner than expected and Maddie finds herself in a crossroads between letting him leave or mustering up the courage to ask him to stay. Cristina doesn't do romances, and love is absolutely out of her league. She's extremely rude and doesn't care for what others think of her anyway. One day when she crashes at her regular café just before a meeting, she gets a cup of cappuccino as a token of her lucky 1089th purchase and then havoc breaks in. Join her in a rollercoaster ride of some bizarre events, which make her having second thoughts over her past choices.

Not only love but sometimes a friendship can happen just by a coffee.

(COMPLETED) I had always preferred the taste of a bitter-sweet coffee. The strong aroma of the pure and newly brewed black beans plus another two teaspoons of sugar? Perfect! And I never have it any other way. But I didn't know that a single encounter with this strange but cute guy in the coffee shop would change my bitter-sweet outlook not just on coffee but with life and love too, because he made me see that there's something in the coffee.

Paige Anderson has an Interview in the city of Boston with a new branch of an Investment Company. She plans to charm her interviewer into believing she's the right one for the position of Vice President. Her carefully crafted plan begins to come apart when she discovers that her ex-housemate took something of immense value to her in order to punish her. She decides to visit a coffee shop on her way to her interview but like a bad domino effect, someone spills coffee on her. Now, she's disorganized in a new suit that doesn't fit, goes late to her interview, almost misses it and gets the shock her life when she finds out who her interviewer is.

A new coffee shop named Windar Coffee Shop opened in town and new cases have been lurking around downtown. Now its up to Police Captain Carlos Legazpi to solve this case and catch the culprit red handed But while waiting... Let's brew some Coffee and taste the new 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥, 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞 in town.

Idris has a terrible morning - a morning so terrible, he'd love to just disappear into thin air. But the world forces his hand, and so he finds himself in a coffee shop, needing to get his caffeine boost to survive the day. He couldn't expect to stumble into June, a woman so unlike and yet so very like him, that he doesn't know what to make of her. A story about the strange way of life, and how special we actually are. A murder in a coffee shop.

As usual to start my day I went to my FAVORITE coffee shop but something unusual happened. As soon as I stepped in the sweet smell of coffee was replaced by deadly smell of cold blood. I desired to leave but just as I turned around someone stopped me. and said. "We were just waiting for you.
