Daniel Brown is an analyst. One day Mr. Davis himself, the owner of a huge company, will want to use his services. However, on the same day he receives an offer from people who should be his victims, whom he should look after. Daniel agrees with that, too. Now he needs to play a double game, and so far everything is going well.....

Drought, tsunamis, famine, landslides, typhoons and the submersion of land, caused by man's greed and foolishness. The continuous catastrophes forced the remaining surviving countries to migrate on a strange land that has been left untouched. A cursed land, unknown to man, until now. Ready to impose their punishment. From then on, the 'X SYSTEM' is born. The survivors dwell in an actual, indestructible X structure, about a hundred feet tall, with a sacred ring opening on its center. Each side of the X separates the four former countries now known as the blocks. Every year, each block competes in the battlefield, with one sole purpose: to gain access at the Center. The small speck of hope in this charred and dry land. Training and surviving is a mere routine to all. Follow Shailene and Ian on their breathtaking adventure.
