Some stories are written with ink. This one wasn't. It fell out of me... sometimes as a sigh that stayed longer than my breath, sometimes as a smile with nowhere to go, sometimes as tears that knew her name before I ever dared to speak it. I used to think having a love life meant having someone to love. Turns out, mine mostly meant having something to overthink. From innocent crushes to embarrassing confessions, from falling for a best friend to discovering that someone actually liked me, my teenage years somehow became a collection of feelings, friendships, almosts, misunderstandings, and unexpected plot twists. There were boys I liked. Boys who liked me. Boys I thought I'd never like. And boys I definitely should've stopped thinking about but somehow didn't. Some stories lasted for days. Some lasted for years. Some never even really started. But each one left me with a memory, a lesson, or at least a really good story to tell. So this isn't exactly a love story. It's more like a collection of the moments that made me laugh, panic, blush, overthink, get hurt, and occasionally ask myself- "Lord, unsa naman ni akong love life?"
