A short story of an old widower, mourning his beloved. This is my first ever short story, so please read it and give me feedback, I'll appreciate any constructive criticism. Thank you 😊

Picture this: You saw the prompts, you worked your butt off, plotting and drafting. You finally reached the first milestone, but there's no one around to give feedback on your hardwork. You submit it, consoling yourself that it was good enough in your opinion. Unsure of how it actually turned out. This book club is here to make sure that doesn't happen.

I will be doing a review on it in this book. And I will be blunt. If you're looking for honeyed words you're not going to find it here. If I like it I'll tell you and if I don't I'll tell you too. 2. I don't do vote for vote and follow for follow. If I vote for your book it's because I love it so much I probably added it to my library and am banging my head at my laptop waiting for updates. If I follow you it means the only thing stopping me from rushing up to you and screaming "I LOVE YOU AND YOUR STORIES SO MUCH ABSKDHSJFGHKLSW" is social etiquette and the fact that I have no idea who you really are. 3. Obviously my reviews are based on my preferences and obviously there will be people disagreeing with my opinions. And obviously a book I hate might be another person's fave - one man's meat is another man's poison and all that. And obviously the converse might be true. Obviously these things are obvious. So, I decided that I wanted to further expand my writing skills and shoot to enter a contest. The contest demands were I tell a story, but only use 75 words exactly. I wanted to post this story I created on Wattpad, and aim for having people read my work and give me feedback before the contest deadline. So for those future readers that would grant me the privilege of reading this short story, give me constructive feedback on how I could improve it , if the main idea is clear enough or if I need to clarify any of my details. Anything you could think of I would be happy with. I just want an outside opinion before I turn it in to the contest. I hope I get people to read this soon and I hope you guys enjoy my 75-word story! Percy has just defeated Kronos, but he still feels like there's something to do, so he tries to occupy his time, but nothing feels right. Of course, That's until he finds a ship. This is inspired by Son of the Western Sea. If I get anything wrong please let me know, and Don't he too harsh, this is my first story, so I'll take tips and minor constructive criticism.
