By South American standards, Bolivia is not large, but it's bigger than most European countries, and about three times the size of Germany. It's a country of contrasting landscapes and people. Its western part is dominated by the vast highlands, at about 4,000 m of altitude, including Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world. The western and eastern cordilleras of the Andes Mountains are their borders. They are an extensive pasture for sheep and cows, and the occasional llama, or alpaca. The air at this altitude is starved of oxygen, making it hard to breathe. The eastern cordillera is equally expansive as the highlands. There are endless mountain peaks. And to the east of them are the vast lowlands, which make up more than two thirds of Bolivia's landmass. We spent all of our time in and around the Lake Titicaca area, with the exception of a brief excursion to the Uyuni Salt Flats, a large lake that dried up eons ago, leaving a sea of salt behind.

This short story will tell the unanswered question of the song Copacabana... who shot who?

Based on the song Copacabana by Barry Manilow that takes you through Rico's alcoholic tendencies and behavior during his relationship with Lola that caused their relationship to end and what ultimately lead to the killing of Tony. Rico's fight to break his substance abuse while also trying to be a good boyfriend to Lola didn't cut it, Lola moves on, Rico is then left with regrets of what could've been which drives him to change and break habits.

A decade after the incident at the Copacabana, Lola still continues to struggle and it begins to affect every relationship around her.

Now it’s up to one postgrad student cum struggling writer and one theatrical knight of the realm (deceased) to track him down and rescue him before he becomes lost to the real world forever.

A poem Tony (the bartender) wrote that stole Lola's heart and foreshadowed his death. Written on a bar napkin and passed to Lola a few days after she started working there. Assignment for Transmedia class as an east coast transmedia from the Barry Manilow song Copacabana.

Tony risked his life and his freedom to come to the United States in hopes of achieving the proverbial 'American Dream'. After meeting the love of his live, Lola, he soon found out that in order to chase that same dream, he would be faced with risking it all, once more.
