(This is an OC insert without ANY ships (apart from the ones in the original work)) Neirine, a girl who enrolled in the Galaxy Garrison to be with her friend, spent her time learning the ways of the medicine. Every ship needs a medic, and she just so happens to be the medic for her friends team. But what happens, when one night, in the middle of seeking out of the Garrison, the team of four, come across something much larger than the simple 'lets-sneak-out-and-fool-around'. What happens when someone who was deemed missing is found and is said to have gone crazy. What happens when a mysterious ship is found in the middle of the desert? This is the story about the Defenders of the Universe and how they came to achieve that title. (This is my third fanfiction, and still. English isn't my first language. Though I love to write and make art, as I will show in the fanfiction! Please have fun if you decide to read it :3)

A young girl named Jessica was found at nine years old in the middle of barren ground in Cuba. The only thing she can remember is her first name. She is adopted as a sister by Takashi Shirogane, a pilot for the Galaxy Garrison. When her brother goes missing along with the rest of his crew she teams up with Katie Holt under the persona of Pidge Gunderson. Jessica knows who she is but no one else does. When the arrival of an UFO lands on planet Earth with Jessica's older brother as the pilot she figures out that what she has always believed was true. She is destined for great things. If I have borrowed ideas from other stories I will be sure to dedicate the chapter to the author of the other story. All characters unless stated otherwise belong to Tim Hedrick and Mitch Iverson as well as the Voltron crew.
