The axe swishes through the air and lands in Zendaya's chest with a satisfying thunk. Fault lines spider web out from the blade, and the next second her body breaks apart like a chocolate Easter bunny. I pick up the hollow fragments and toss them into the melting pot. The late September sun scorches the back of my neck. They say this summer's gonna be one for the record books. Highest temperatures. Highest unemployment. Highest mortality rate...

All of a sudden this boy climbs through my window. Silently making his way over to my bed I slightly opened my right eye to see what he looked like. His silhouette walking towards me I could see, looking at his shadow, that he had bangs that lay flat down on his head under his hood. I could make out these weird pointy things on the side of his head but only two. He wore what looked like a jacket and I assume jeans though I couldn't see them. He started to snoop around in my room. Looking through my closet, under my bed, inside all my dressers and cabinets. But when he got to the dresser on the farthest end of my room I started to panic. In a blink of an eye, I had him pinned to the ground with his right arm pulled behind his back. "What exactly are you looking for?"

I have decided to write a poem a day describing how I am feeling, what I did that day, and/or my main thoughts revolving the day for the duration of my quarantine. This will go through a world win of emotions and there will probably just be straight up rants thrown in there. This surves mostly as a journal for me so I dont loose my poems. Just a background for anyone who decided to read it I have really bad lungs so I have been for the most part shut into my homes. This is mostly for me so I can document it but if someone for some reason does decide to read I hope you enjoy them. Also just a warning I have depression and anxiety and tend to have suicidal thoughts so that will more than likely make it into at least a few of these. Hope y'all are staying safe.
