By sharing our stories, suicide attempt survivors are breaking the silence. We are revealing our innermost pain to help others see that kindness and a willingness to talk and listen can be life-saving. We want to help suicidal people find compassion, understanding, and help before they reach the point of crisis. If we start the conversation early enough, I believe we can save lives.
