Hello; this is a re-post since wattpad decided to yeet my book off the face of the planet because one chapter was a bit spicy, if you know what I mean. I lost a few chapters and drafts, but luckily had most of the better/newer ones saved somewhere else too so they're not lost. I put the ones that shouldn't be a problem in here and will hopefully be able to continue sharing my stories. That being said; have some stories I pulled out of my ass again. And when Veronika joined the Hazbin Hotel, a rehabilitation center run by the princess of hell, they caught the interest of the infamous Radio Demon himself, Alastor. Who was also discriminated for being a person of color, and raised by a single parent. Over time, the two grow to establish themselves as friends, and had an interesting relationship together. Constantly bickering, poking fun, and causing chaos. ... But what happens when one begins to slowly fall for the other, and is afraid of commitment to the other person? In the middle of a crisis, nonetheless?

I believe that it is important to keep the stories of our ancestors alive for many reasons, but perhaps the most important reasons are to honor their memory and thank them for their sacrifices. This is a true story of my great-great grandma, Antoinette Šeplová, who was forced to come to America all on her own at the young age of 13 around 1900. Every part of this short, episodic fiction is based on records, old letters, and accounts from family members to piece together her life's story as a Czech immigrant in America. From a Pietist commune in Iowa to the rough neighborhoods of the Chicago South Side, my great-great grandmother's story is one I continue my work unraveling to this day.
