Unfortunately for him, he has chosen one of the last angels on Earth who truly loves humans and assigned her to watch over the most human feeling half demons she has ever met. Light is an Aeran that isn't like other people from her home, for one she has this aura around her that feels like a mix of light and dark which is very rare among other Aerans, two she is the only Aeran in existence that knows of or even how to use Rune magic and control the Healers Flame, Silver Flames, Three she left her home unlike others who'd rather stay. Though Light's life hasn't exactly been easy going or happy, she's thankful for the family and friend she has, but with war being edged by the Demon King and Light constantly is getting hurt. (This is semi based on a roleplay i am in on Amino)

(I suggest you read Agent May Cry first before reading this!!) With the kidnapping of Leon by Albert Wesker that had gone by for two years, Leon and Dante finally settle down into a new lifestyle that neither two were foreign or familiar were. But when a anonymous figure appears to wreck up their lifes, it's up to our characters to take down Albert Wesker once more. It didn't make their mission any easier when Wesker was smart enough to bring someone from Dante's past along with him.

Dante and Vergil decide to spend Mother's Day honoring the woman who gave everything to save them. In the process, they come to terms with their loss and take the opportunity to get a few things off their chest that have been bothering them for decades.

When Sam & Dean's mother decides to take a trip with Jack & Claire joining her to Red Grave City to visit her twin sister. She didn't expect to find ruins of a partially burned & decaying mansion or a gravestone containing her sister's name. Mary also didn't expect her sons to show up, teaming up with the cousins they never properly met to hunt down demons from Mary & Eva's past. Devil May Cry 5: Before the Nightmare is a prequel novel set before the events of Devil May Cry 5 written by Bingo Morihashi and illustrated by Tsuyomaru. The novel is told from multiple characters' perspective: Dante, Nero, Nico, V, Lady, Trish, Lucia, and Morrison. The novel makes many references to previous games and novels, as well as shedding more background on certain scenes that are seen in Devil May Cry 5. (I obviously am not the original author. I uploaded this novel here for those who couldn't find decent English translations in an easy to read place. I translated the bulk of this novel and cross-referenced it with another English translation I found, as the "official" one I came across was done poorly. Enjoy!)

As much as Dante wanted to be a part of his daughter's life, her mother's family had other plans. In the end, all he got was ten minutes with Evan, and then he had no choice but to leave. Thankfully, the only other person who knew anything about Evan, was Lady. Years Later, events on a forested mountain help things fall into place. Old story, different ending.
