A friendship problem arises in Canterlot and it's up to Twilight, Dusk, Sunset, Glare, Starlight and Stellar to solve it and that problem turns out to be the Royal Siblings arguing. Meanwhile Twilight and Dusk deal with royal problems of their own.

Blazing Firefly is a filly who loves star gazing. She loves Luna and Celestia, though often times she finds Luna more appealing than she looks. In Ponyville, she cannot find friendship, as she is singled out for liking Luna. She finds out about a community for those who like Luna. She understands Luna and the night. Akin to Luna, she'd rather hide and disguise herself in the dark, then be the one who is the center of attention in the oceany sky. As she grows older, she matures and sees more than meets the eye. She will learn about dangers that face her, including learning about growing a little bit older.

Nightcrawler never felt much complex emotions. It was never his style to talk or show them either. Daybreaker never felt a strong love towards a male. She had boyfriends that hurt her, but never loved her. But when they both meet, they feel love.

The eldest sister, tried to reason with her, but the youngest refused to listen. Bitterness in her heart, the youngest sister turned into a devilish mare, Day Breaker, she vowed that she would shroud the land in eternal burning day. Reluctantly, the eldest sister harness the most powerful magic to pony lands, The Elements of Harmony. Using the magic of the Elements of Harmony, she defeated her younger sister, and banished her permanently in the moon. The elder sister took on responsibility, for both sun and moon and harmony has been maintained in Equestria for generations since....

'I should be noticed more than her, what's so special about the night,' Celestia thought to herself. But such is the way of the limelight, it sweetly takes hold of the mind of its host. Suddenly, a solution formed in her head. 'What if I got rid of her instead?'
