Hey, I'll be updating this book every Monday, so don't be afraid of the low chapter count :) Also let me know if my writing style is too much. It wont always look like this, but because Chapter 1 takes place directly in the Daniel case, it isn't exactly conversational. Chapter 2 will be the dialog between you and Daniel so it might be a shorter Chapter. In this rendition, YOU are the Adroid sent by Cyberlife. So there I was, locked in a holding cell at whatever precinct it was in Detroit, Michigan in the year 2038. Really, the whole holding cell thing is a little excessive. I don't know why they needed to go these lengths. I'm in a tiny body, and unfortunately, YK500 androids aren't all that strong, or so I've learned. Mostly the hard way. Kara is sitting across from me, glaring of course, and it's honestly understandable. It's my fault we're here after all. Not really one of my finer moments, I will admit. But hey, it could be worse. At least I'm not dead. Anymore. Reader gets hit by a car and wakes up in the body of Alice Williams. Shenanigans ensue.
