Kepindahan ini seharusnya jadi babak baru yang membahagiakan bagi keluarga Fiona. pekerjaan baru Ayah membawa mereka jauh ke sebuah desa sunyi, menempati sebuah rumah tua yang luas dan kokoh. namun, sejak hari pertama, fiona sudah merasakan ada keganjilan yang merayap di balik dinding-dinding kayu lapuk rumah itu. sejak truk pindahan berhenti di depan gerbang kayu yang sudah lapuk, fiona sudah merasakan ada yang tidak beres. desa itu terlalu sunyi, seolah-olah penduduknya sedang bersembunyi dari sesuatu. kecurigaan fiona terbukti saat mereka mulai menempati rumah itu. nana, adiknya yang biasanya ceria, perlahan berubah menjadi sosok yang asing. nana mulai bicara sendiri, menatap kosong ke sudut langit-langit, dan bertingkah aneh yang membuat bulu kuduk berdiri. puncaknya, nana seolah kehilangan dirinya sendiri, tubuh kecilnya seakan dikendalikan oleh sesuatu yang haus akan darah. ayah dan ibu akhirnya memutuskan bahwa mereka tidak bisa tinggal diam. dengan rasa panik yang memuncak, ayah dan ibu memutuskan untuk membawa nana pergi saat itu juga. mereka harus mencari pengobatan, mencari siapa pun yang bisa mengeluarkan sosok asing yang kini bersarang di tubuh kecil nana. satu-satunya harapan mereka tertuju pada mbok idah, orang tua yang konon tahu cara menghadapi gangguan di rumah tua itu. namun, pelarian mereka berujung pada horor yang lebih dalam. saat mereka sampai untuk meminta pertolongan, mbok idah justru ditemukan sudah dalam keadaan menjadi jenazah yang mendingin. harapan itu padam tepat saat rumah tua itu mulai menagih janji yang belum tuntas.
