Lance never thought his life was normal. He was smart, an expert pilot and incredibly good looking. All these qualities on top of only being a student, he knew he was unusually perfect. But in the middle of his flight, an explosive force rips the plane in half and sends all its passengers tumbling towards the ocean below. Lance hits the water and sinks deeper and deeper into the sea. He should have died. But he wakes up underwater. That's when he suspected his life wasn't normal, and in the bad way. It was accumulating some purple spots in the shape of four fingers wrapped around his palm. "Look what you did," he said, showing it off. Keith lifted up his own arm coolly in response. Blotches of red and purple covered it from his forearm to his fingers. The sight of it wiped the cheeky grin off Lance's face. Keith could not hide his laughter. *** Updates once every 2 weeks!! Mimo to, nie przechwala się jednak, a wyniki uznaje za po prostu niepotrzebne. Zamiast tego woli skupić się na swoich hobby i marzeniach. Bycie drugim wokalem i gitarą prowadzącą w zespole jest jednym z takowych i radości z tego nie niszczy mu nawet fakt, że na razie grają tylko w opuszczonej fabryce. Niezależny, zawsze w swoim świecie, praktycznie odizolowany od reszty ludzi ze szkoły, z którymi nie chce mieć do czynienia, nie robi zbyt pozytywnego wrażenia. Poza szkołą to jednak zupełnie inna bajka. Keith nawet nie wie o istnieniu Lance'a. Zawsze tylko zbywa wszelkie gratulacje za swoje wyniki zbyciem ramion. No chyba, że pochodzą od Shiro czy chłopaków z zespołu. Lance McClain jest zupełnym przeciwieństwem Keitha. Jest pilny, sumienny, a przez dwa dni w tygodniu chodzi na korepetycje tylko po to, by prześcignąć swojego rywala. Tak, Lance jest numerem dwa. Zawsze z zawiścią i podziwem patrzy na nazwisko Kogane, tuż nad swoim. Gdyby tylko Lance potrafił zachować jakąkolwiek powagę może ktokolwiek uwierzyłby, że chłopak naprawdę się stara. On zamiast tego obraca wszystko w żart i zawsze robi wokół siebie zamieszanie i hałas. Lance nie ma zielonego pojęcia, jak wygląda Keith. Chłopak jest dla niego zagorzałym rywalem, ale zna tylko jego nazwisko. Nie powstrzymuje go to jednak przed wygrażaniem owemu "cudownemu dziecku", że kiedyś go pokona, co zwykle zostaje skomentowane śmiechem przez jego najbliższego przyjaciela Hunka i dziewczynę Allurę.
