Defining Stories

Ayla Hope grew up as an average student, not super smart, just average. Everything started to change when she achieved the title "With Honors." What was once something to be proud of slowly turned into pressure. From that moment on, expectations were everywhere, not just from her parents, but from the people around her too. The girl who used to smile a lot and enjoy the moment began to change. Being a normal kid wasn't enough anymore. Trying to live up to expectations she wasn't even sure she could reach became harder day by day. This is a story about growing up, pressure, and trying to find yourself when everyone expects more from you.
