Dare Day. Cue the recreational explosives. On this day, one of us could get a tattoo because we'd always wanted to and our parents wouldn't let us. Or we could ask a cute guy out that we'd been crushing on for months. Better yet, one of us could end up kissing a guy we'd absolutely despised, even though I- one of us... had known the feeling was mutual. All of this could happen and all we'd have to do was move on with our lives after. Enjoy the last of school, get our diplomas, and have the best summer we could ask for while dreading with excitement, the coming fall and the start of college. But this year was different. All our dares came back snapping at us like piranha. Actions met consequences. Tears were shed-with maybe some blood. And hurt found betrayal. " † † † They're four friends with a tradition that's challenged them in more ways than one. In the past, and now, the present. But unlike the past, several things hadn't just died as the days went by-they grew. They became real, they became demons, and they hunted. Some relationships are worth sacrificing, but others are worth holding on to for a lifetime. It's not just about romance. It's about sisterhood.
