Deserted Histoires

A commercial air plane can hold over 800 people at most. Thats alot of people for one plane to keep safe and in the air. Luckily, we were a smaller group of passengers. Our particular flight held only 226. 226 people it didn't keep safe. 157 dead. 79 left to survive on a deserted island. With the world torn away and so few things to hold close, 79 people from all walks of life struggle to find a way to be found and a way to go on.

We were in a harsh, desolate land of sand and rocks." When Thomas Sullivan's bus driver starts to go crazy, he ends up in a parallel universe, with almost no chance of getting home. The desolate landscape he wakes up in has given him no chance of survival. The only thing he has left is his friends, viola, and a meager supply of food. To make matters worse, the bus driver and other kids are all nowhere to be seen, and there are other intelligent creatures. Creatures that raid their camp, steal their food, and have powerful secrets. Secrets that pose a great threat. Every problem they encounter pushes them to get home faster. Then, they discover it... Read this story, and find out what happens in this fast paced, action packed journey of a lifetime! I wrote the first chunk of this for a school narrative project. I pulled it out during COVID and figured I may as well do something with it. I hope people like it. (Shoutout to whoever can guess the relationships). There will be a section at the end of chapter one for this.

Sixteen year old Danielle is on a flight to Africa to help build schools for three months with her best friend Emma. A plane ride soon turns into a plane crash as her and nine other teenagers find themselves floating in the Atlantic ocean, adrift and asleep. When they wake up they find they are on an island, and have no way of getting off. Will they be able to cling to civilization? Or will they succomb to savagery?

All you need to know is I came to protect her at every cost. Why I am doing this for her you will have to determine on your own.

They are complete opposites. Mandi Parks is the quiet nerd with no friends. Has flimsy wire glasses, frizzy red hair, an armful of books, and plaid pants in every color. She doesn't even try and it hurts. Jasper Michaels is the cool, confident jock with captain of football and basketball teams on his resume. Equipped with 8-pack abs, pretty blue eyes, silky brown hair and popularity. He's the total cliche guy. No, this is not a best friend story. They have never said a word to each other, or as far as Jasper knows they haven't. Mandi knows that he is way out of her league and Jasper doesn't even know she exists--well, until now. Now, is when the two unlikely students are randomly tossed onto a deserted island and are forced to work together to survive. Even though they don't know how they got here, or why, they do make a pretty good team, what with Mandi's smarts and Jasper's athletics, but they need to find out how to get off the island- and what's going to happen to them after they do. *WARNING* I wrote this in like sixth grade so it isn't very good. I feel like my more recent stories are better, so if you want to check those out I'd appreciate it a lot! You may proceed at your own risk

Abby and Madi were best friends. Abby’s boyfriend, Luke Hemmings, was in 5 Seconds of Summer, and Abby went on tour with him. He and his band had to travel to London, a place where Madi had always wanted to go. Abby decided to take Madi. They had a great time, but when they were traveling back to Australia, everything went downhill. The plane crashed, and they barely made it out alive. They were stuck on a stranded island with no food, no shelter, no way to contact anyone else. How will they survive?

A poem on one's struggles to love or be loved by someone because of fear of rejection and heartbreak, choosing to just be alone.

At The Lone Street He ever sat by the side of a deserted street; Probably watching the dance of hasty feet; His old face ever painted with a cold stare; And apparently no one even stooped to care. The eyes ever staring in the distance; Seemingly absorbed in the instance; Black and grey hairs hung on his chin; And his face indeed a stranger to grin. In front swinged the hips of hasty ladies; Whispered the voices of bypassing buddies; Beside him was his old tool of trade; The only weapon that his living made. Behind was the trunk of a gigantic bluegum; The place where his lone form ever clamp; When he took his lunch none seemed to care; Everyone had more weightier matters to bear. I never saw anyone stand on his weighing scale; Probably I was ever absent when he made his sale; Standing to know your weight was only a cheap coin; But no one seemed to have the pain. He seemed careless of the lash of the cruel sun; Ever willingly let it's fierce rays his old face burn; To wave or smile at him I spared not a little chance; Probably I swayed to the tune of the common dance. Everyone was too busy to make their future bright; That none cared to know of this old man's plight; And who could bent his vibrant youthful form; To graciously fan an old deserted heart warm? And I know many sit at more lone dark corners; To gladden their hearts no one having the honors; Who knows the pain that lashes their hearts; As their lonely faces linger beneath their old hats? @Brian©
