Far, far away, in the space between universes, there was a little world in which the laws of evolution applied a little bit different to what you and I would expect. Instead of chemical processes organising cells growing in complexity over time, life took an unexpected turn from its early stages when magic mixed the plasma of the nearest star. That was the beginning of the star children. They formed from the plasma drifting through space, raining down on the little warm planet. Soon they would establish a thriving civilisation. They became skilled in the arts of magic manipulation, knowledge consolidation and compassion. They cherished their little home, its creatures, and their people. Days passed filled with bliss until the day shadows flowed onto the land, stealing the candour of their lives. This is the story of how the children of the light faded from their world.

hey y'all. it is my first time writing a book, and i am still learning, but i am exited to give it a shot. i would love tips ideas or comments so feel free to read it and tell me what you think. it is not completed yet and it has a few mistakes (a lot of mistakes) but i would love to see it grow. after the downfall. a girl and her brother are left to fend for themselves in the forgotten world. she has raised her brother after her parents died, and she has done unspeakable things to get by. now her, her brother, and their strange travel pet will have to find their way across this wasteland. will she be able to forget about what happened at borderline? will the world ever be the same? will they find a way to move on? find out..

This is where I'll put Fantasy and SF short stories. I decided having them all separately was taking up too much room in the list, is all. So these were the ones that were already here, but I wanted to fix the formatting, and then thought I'd just do this. Now I've figured out how to work Wattpad a bit and all. And the name on the cover is different because, I don't know, I was just using that for Fantasy writing. So yeah. Um. New things will turn up sometimes, nothing is in any particular order. There was something about power that made people turn on each other. Their anger, resentment, and suspicion cycled around until it turned into a storm of accusation. Each person blaming and hating the other until they eventually killed each other. And in the eye of that storm? There sat Esmai Jaccoud, calmly watching the storm they had brewed up. They only had one goal become the king, hold all of the power of the kingdom in their hands. A simple enough goal if one can murder enough people. However, achieving a goal wasn't always a good idea. Winning power didn't matter. Power, like life, was an illusion that could be taken away as easily as it was given. And sometimes there were consequences to the messes one made.

It started when I met her at school. She was beautiful for the way she thought. She was beautiful for her ability to make other people smile, even if she was sad. When everything just seemed to be going wrong in my life, I didn't know what to do. I never really had to cope with failure, especially not at this rapid rate. I started lashing out at myself in front the mirror. The more I expressed my self, the more I realised that I wasn't just talking...there was a second voice inside me. I put my emotions on paper. And when I did, I began to see that poetic expression was my comforter in tough times. This poem is the genesis of how I started on the path to become a young poet.
