Unfortunately death spare no one, and he takes whoever he is wants, and when Vita's grandfather is taking away, Vita second sight is getting stronger and can no longer hide from Death. Suddenly secrets get out and There more to Vita's second sight that not even Vita could understand. Death is determine to train her to take his place, for selfish reason, but all Vita ever wanted was a normal life. Will she be able to seek her freedom from Death or will she become the next grim reaper?

But even before, she had run in with Tahir, she was good with the rest Rais's men even though she was from the Tower. After a strange fall from the sky, she learns the worse of that her friend had died trying to save a new guy. But when there's a cry for Antizin, Brecken send off the new guy, with Maria tagging along, only to find out the Crane is not who he says he is, and soon Crane will find out what Maria use to do before the Outbreak, and why she was sent on Vacation.
