He can never hear what it's saying, but he could make out the words that their lips were forming. It's telling him to wake up and that they would be there soon for him. Who are they!? And why would he need to wake up? He was already wide awake. .....Wasn't he?

In a world where everyone manifests a power at age eighteen, one girl is a "Nullifier"-anyone she touches loses their powers and feels an intense wave of calm. The other is a volatile elemental hero (like fire or electricity) whose powers are constantly overflowing and threatening to consume her, meaning she can never touch another human being without hurting them.

The show called the deep on Netflix is what this is based off of, but I'm switching the characters up so hope you like it.
