Darra certainly seems to think August is her saving grace after a heartbreaking abrupt breakup with her longtime boyfriend Daniel. But August feels like an imposter, because that's exactly what she is. This is an AU of the show "The Bureau of Magical Things" where Kyra and Imogen are adults working for the DMI. They've never gotten over their initial hatred for one another and when forced to partner on a project, they have to either learn to overcome their issues or risk losing their jobs.
