Alina has known since she was young that her soulmate was centuries older than her, had been known by many different names but she always knew one thing for sure he was the Darkling. The only one in Ravka, the only one that had ever been in Ravka. So she prepared for the one day she would meet him knowing that she would always be so much younger & less experienced than him. Along with her brother in all but blood, Mal, they would join the First Army together both knowing eventually they would meet their soulmates along the way.

This is an enemies to lovers (woohoo I'm so original) between reader x darkling with the reader being Grisha and one of the crows to kidnap Alina like the show storyline but darkling does have right intentions about the fold and takes it down. There is like a little game of thrones crossover you don't have to have watched it-just well a little crossover.

Divergent storyline after Alina and Mal find the stag. Alina is captured by General Kirigan, but he doesn't kill the stag immediately. There is a second chance for shadow and light. Will Alina be sucked into the darkness or will she bring Aleksander into the light? (based on Shadow and Bone tv series only).

Alina and Alexander were stuck in an endless loop of rebirth, but when one died they never knew when they would come back sometimes months but sometimes decades. The second time that Alina died when she was murdered Sasha lost control and created the fold and was known as the black heretic. When Alexander was murdered Alina lost control and razed an entire village to the ground getting the nickname sun witch.

The skin beneath Alina's collar itches.

He couldn't be that perfect image in her mind. Or that poisonous one. But the way her hands shook said otherwise. Alina Starkov was the victim. Aleksander the venom. And she became the poison. But are they each other's cure? (Darklina)

A year after Alina Starkov tears down the Shadow Fold, she is finally able to settle into her peaceful life. There is no more war with Ravka. The Darkling, once her enemy, is now a loyal, protective husband, and a father to their adoptive daughter, Amelia. But all things must end. The Sun Summoner learns that a time of peace can become a time of chaos and upheaval in the blink of an eye. As quickly as one war ends, another can emerge. Alina must protect her country as Queen while making sure that the Darkling doesn't revert to his old villainous self, or else all they have built will come crashing down. Behind him, a monster ten feet tall, made of shadow, forms in a menacing stance, ready to carry out his silent orders. I thought I had seen the last of his nichevo'ya a long time ago when we were on opposing sides of the war. I shake my head. "No. No, what are you doing? Wait!" I send the Cut barrelling at the monster. It dissociates into nothing only for another one to take its place. Again, I send the Cut through the abomination, but it was only a diversion. Another one forms behind me, capturing my arms to prevent me from summoning. It holds me above the ground. I kick and scream, but it covers my mouth with its long, slender arm, the other holding me securely to its chest. My breath is labored as I use all of my strength to fight it. It is futile. The Darkling approaches me, stroking his fingers across my cheek as a way to comfort me. It is hard, however, to comfort someone if you are the cause of the distress. "I will do anything in my power to protect you, my Dear Alina. Anything."

A Darklina fanfic following what could have been if Alina made a different choice following her conversation with Baghra. This is based purely from the show, I have not read the books.

Events are happening after season 2 (includes some scenes from 8 episode). I like an idea of dark Alina or morally grey. This story is about how I would like to see further events. How Alina will walk the Darkling's path, and understand all his words. How she will accept herself, and her love to him. P.S. If you read my story "The light behind the darkness", you may know how much I love Darklina. And after his disappointing death in the series, I have an inspiration to write new one about them.

I wish I didn't, I wish I didn't feel anything for him. I wish I could pretend his arms did not tempt me, his gaze didn't pierce deep into my very soul, his lips didn't whisper soft words to me, as if he was always telling me a secret, opening up to me in a way he never did with anyone else. The Darkling (Aleksander) had just gotten engaged to his Star Summoner when he found Alina, the Sun Summoner. For who could ever love the stars when one could have the sun? However, if you love a sun, be careful you don't burn. Would they be each other's perfect balance, or would it fail because neither could exist while the other flourishes?
