This is a story about Dazai finding Atsushi as a small cub, nurturing him, and helping him grow up. Everyone in this story is the same age as in canon, besides Atsushi, who is around seven years old. This story mainly focuses on Dazai and Atsushi, involving fluff and the occasional violence. As much as Dazai would enjoy dying, he didn't wanna go out by the hands of some insignificant gang nobody's heard of. He had to wait a few days for backup to arrive, he had to lay low in some shity hotel until then. On a sunny summer day, when Dazai finally got some rest and decided to sleep in a bit longer, he was rudely awoken by the sound of his phone ringing. He got up to pick up but the phone went silent. His last wishes was for Dazai to become a better man, and somehow, someway, Dazai wanted to fulfill those wishes. He first had to find a way to get clear. His criminal record had mysteriously disappeared, and so will he. How will Chuuya react to his partner leaving? HIS suicidal maniac leaving. What could they ever do without eachother? It was like a different reality without their partners.
