It has been said that a wraith was once a person who practised dark magic. These people tried to extend their lives for many hundreds of years however, the results weren't always what they expected. The use of the dark magic casted shadows on themselves. With their souls deprived of substance, the person's mind begins to be driven mad by its most hideous fears. Only Holy or blessed weapons can harm Wraiths.

Returning home from college, Desiree wanders her familys farm lost in memory and despairing of the future. She places her trust in the land, as she always has, and whimsy of the universe offers her a chance at happiness.
